Encounters full of atmosphere

With us you sit in the front row almost everywhere at concerts. The seating in our magnificent historic ballroom with 200 seats lets you be close to the artists. Magical moments can arise.
The acoustics in the hall are excellent, especially noticeable during the classical concert series Reinbek Castle. The popular series (subscription only) contains five complementary concerts per season.

Whether chanson, jazz or soul, singer-songwriter, pop or acapella - well-known artists can be encountered up close at the “Acoustics Festival”. On four consecutive concert evenings in November, Reinbek Castle celebrates the diversity of 'unplugged' music.
Our format “Kulturkost” in the “Hofsaal” combines a gastronomic offer, e.g. Coffee and cake in a convivial atmosphere, followed by an entertaining music programme.
The highlight at the beginning of the year is the Stormarn puppet theatre festival. Selected stage plays for children and adults create unforgettable theatre experiences.
All the generations are united in the audience when poets present themselves before the jury four times a year at the Sachsenwald Poetry Slam.
Readings and music, chamber theatre and open air concerts add to the variety of cultural events.
Reinbek Castle is also somewhere to encounter art with temporary exhibitions in the old kitchen, gallery and “Krummspanner”, as well as with the summer art weekend “KUNSTWERK WERKKUNST”.

And Reinbek's Cultural Centre also has another location at its disposal: six times a year, cabaret and comedy appear on stage in “Neuschönningstedt Community Centre”. There the audience sits at tables (with drinks).
